Gone with the Wind is an American classic where a manipulative lady and a roguish gentleman go on a turbulent romance in the American south during the Civil War time.

Scarlett is a lady who can cope with a nation at war, Atlanta burning, the Union Army carrying off almost everything from her dearest Tara, the carpetbaggers who get there after the war. Scarlett is gorgeous. She has energy. But Ashley, the man she has dreamed of for so long, is planning to get married to his placid cousin, Melanie. Mammy cautions Scarlett to behave herself at the party at Twelve Oaks. It is the day the Civil War begins and there is a new man there that day. Scarlett is not aware he is present in the room when she begs Ashley to select her rather than Melanie.
